The Brewery

Three Tier Brewery

The brewery is a three tier gravity fed system.  City water from the tap goes through a potable water garden hose, passes through a charcoal filter and into the hot liquor tank up top (heats the water) which is a keg on a propane burner.

The hot water is then gravity poured into the mash tun to be combined with the grain.

Once the mashing process is complete, the wort is gravity fed into the boiler.  Hot water is sprinked on top of the grain to prevent it from re-stirring up the mixture.

Hops are added during the boil.
